It’s official, I’m a serious Jane Austen fan.
I mean, I was already a fan because of her movies (especially Pride & Prejudice with Keira Knightley), but now I’m reading her books, and holy cats, they’re brilliant.
I finished Northanger Abbey in March and started reading (listening to) Sense and Sensibility. This week, while in the garden for a few days, I finished the book.
Y’all, Jane was a genius for her time, and she inspires me. I love how she made me excited to keep reading because I was so curious about what would happen next. I told my hubby how impressed I was with her writing and how she was able to weave a story.

I have a book idea that’s been ruminating since I finished reading Northanger Abbey. I may use the idea for the Christmas book I’ll be starting soon (it will release at the end of the year).
Last year, I released a Christmas story that was part of the Crystal Shores world.
Your Sweater is Uglier Than Mine is a sweet small-town romance.
After writing the story, I decided I’m going to keep writing Christmas stories for the Crystal Shores world. It’s fun to introduce side characters and add more depth to the series.

Juno always joins me and falls asleep immediately. The other night when she joined me, my heart melted. I mean, seriously, could she be any cuter!
